As President of Five Star Valet, Joey serves as the primary contact person for client relationships, site recommendations, cost proposals, program implementation, and account administration.  He personally designs the logistics of all field operations and provides direct supervision to the valet staff.  He is also responsible for the quality assurance and quality control aspects of the services.  Joey’s experience as the Head Doorman at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, FL has given him the working knowledge and leadership skills necessary to provide a superior level of service to the clients of Five Star Valet.  He is a certified valet trainer and he oversees all training programs.  His approach for success includes conducting weekly meetings to motivate our team, coordinating with the managers, and performing on-going client communication.  Joey’s business management skills have been the basis for Five Star Valet’s business procedures.

Thirteen years ago, Alister was one of Five Star Valet's original employees. At that time, he was attending Florida Gulf Coast University on a full ride golf scholarship, and he was hired as the Director of Operations while aquiring his hopsitality degree. Alister was instrumental to our success as a startup valet parking company. Alister's vast knowledge of the valet and luxury hospitality industries, as well as his operational understanding of our company, make him the perfect fit for the role of vice president. He works closely with Brian Werthem, Director of Operations, in enhancing the quality of our existing client services, and with President Joey Rock on continually growing the business.

Brian serves as the primary point of contact for all clients and employees related to site operations.  Brian is responsible for account maintenance, client coordination, employee quality control, customer service, training and daily coordination with account managers to guarantee client satisfaction.  Brian’s background in hospitality began in 2001 at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Golf Resort, where he served as a Doorman working the front door with Joey Rock for 6 years.  The wealth of experience and knowledge he brings from this past experience are a great asset to Five Star Valet.

Brian brings over 30 years of human resources expertise to our leadership team. In his role he oversees day to day human resources activities and provides input and guidance in employment and employee related matters. Majoring in Human Resources and Business Management, Brian graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois and has served as the head of human resources/chief human resources officer with four healthcare systems and serves a human resources consultant to small and medium sized companies.

As Director of Marketing, Leyna designs, implements, and facilitates the overall marketing and strategic planning programs within 5 Star Valet. Leyna is an additional point of contact for all customer service related inquiries and assists our President with building client relations and maintaining our client portfolio.

Leyna has a strong work ethic and is dedicated to the on-going success and upward movement of 5 Star Valet. She has been in the service industry for more than 10 years and understands the challenges inherent in this business.

Nicolas has served as an Valet Manager since 2009, and he also serves as an onsite manager and doorman. He assists with onsite training, collecting payroll data, and maintaining equipment.  Nicolas helps maintain a positive overall demeanor for Five Star Valet. Nicolas became part of the Five Star Valet’s team in 2007 as a valet parking attendant. While working for Five Star Valet, Nicolas attended Florida Gulf Coast University as a full time student. While attending Florida Gulf Coast University, he held various leadership roles in Student Government as their Associate Justice from 2007-2008, as well as V.P. of Recruitment from 2006-07 in the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. In May 2009, Nicolas received his B.S. in Marketing from the Lutgert College of Business. His determination, responsibility, and persistence allow him to provide the highest quality of valet services to our clients.
